Roll for initiative! Digital Media's biannual Midpoint Sorting Event took place on November 8, 2023. For this event, ETSU’s Digital Media program celebrates their students who have recently passed their midpoint portfolio review- the first milestone of their journey in the Digital Media concentration. This was my first Midpoint Sorting Event working for the department of Digital Media, designed around a Dungeons & Dragon's-theme for the students in this semester's class.
There was roughly a total of 55 students that were accepted into the program, marking their first step to graduating with a degree in Digital Media. For this sorting event, students are "chosen" by their mentors and sorted into the concentration best fit for their skillset.

Students walked down a red carpet and were knighted by their mentors, having their special moment and being recognized by the department as students that passed Midpoint. There was roughly 150 people in attendance between Digital Media, the College of Business & Technology, partners, parents, friends, students, undergraduate and graduate students.
